Empty Bowls is celebrating its 15th anniversary!

October 10th | Mayo Civic Center

We have some exciting changes this year you won’t want to miss!

JOIN US FOR LUNCH! 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Join Channel One Food Bank for lunch for the 15th annual celebration of Empty Bowls, a community event to ensure that every person in our region is food secure. Top local restaurants and bakeries will provide a delicious variety of soups and bread, which will be served by local celebrities and community leaders. Channel One also invites attendees to choose a hand-painted bowl to take home as a memento of the event and a reminder of the food insecurity many people in our community face each day. Throughout the event, attendees will be given opportunities to further support the Channel One mission with a new Text to Give option, and several ‘buy it now’ packages and bowls donated by local businesses, artists and more! All proceeds will support Channel One Regional Food Bank’s mission – to strengthen food access and build healthy communities.

NEW THIS YEAR! Empty Bowls After-Hours
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The fun continues with this addition to a much-loved event. Join Channel One for an evening of philanthropy, food, drinks and more! Taste gourmet creations from top restaurants (not just soup, but anything that is served in a bowl!), participate in activities and raffles, purchase amazing hand-made pottery and exclusive chef experiences, and be inspired by stories of people in our region affected by food insecurity. All proceeds will support Channel One Regional Food Bank’s mission – to strengthen food access and build healthy communities.
