Following information and guidance from Olmsted County, the CDC, and MDH, Channel One’s Face Masking requirements will change, effective Wednesday, August 4, 2021. While this may feel like a “step back”, it is our hope that this change is temporary, and that once the transmission of COVID-19 and/or the Delta variant are curbed and the community spread slowed, we will once again be able to provide services unmasked.
Starting August 4th, the following applies to all employees, volunteers, vendors, guests, and shoppers, including those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine:
- All individuals must wear a face covering while inside the building, within any area open to the public, including stairways and hallways, or within six feet of another person.
Face masks may be “temporarily removed” in the following situations:
- when eating or drinking
- when needed for identification purposes
- when communicating with hearing-impaired individuals
- when alone in an office, a room, or in a cubicle
- alone in a company vehicle or other enclosed work area
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we continue to deal the best we can to protect our employees’ health and the well-being of our customers, visitors, and shoppers.
