Join us for Empty Bowls 2026!

Event date: October 2026
Times: TBA
Where: TBA

As part of this to-go style, pre-order only event, participants will enjoy gourmet soups and bread from local restaurants as well as hand-painted bowls, serving as a reminder of those who may not know where their next meal will come from. Empty Bowls To-Go 2025 event was a huge success, raising over $100,000 for the first time in the events history! This success is a testament to the loyalty of our attendees and, of course, supporters like you.

This event remains a crucial part of Channel One’s work to increase food security for our friends and neighbors. USDA data from 2023 is sobering, showing that 1 in 7 people, including 1 in 5 children, in the U.S. live in food insecure households. This is an increase of 36% and 47% respectively from just two years ago, making it the highest rate of food insecurity since 2014.

As Channel One continues to navigate the increased need for food support in our region, we are grateful to have supporters so invested in the mission and values we uphold. We cannot do this important work alone and hope that you will consider investing in the health and stability of our region.

All funds raised from the 22nd annual event in 2026 will be put back into our community and will directly benefit those who are facing food insecurity in our region.
