Month End Inventory
On Friday, October 30, Channel One will conduct month-end inventory. The order window will be closed and online ordering on Agency Express will be unavailable from 4pm on Thursday, October 29th until 11am on Friday, October 30th. You can continue to expect adjusted order window hours on the last business day of each month to accommodate our monthly inventory counts.
TEFAP Beans—in Abundance!
We have an abundance of dried beans, in several varieties. Lentils, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, black beans and green split peas—all available in time for soup season. Some of you will remember lentil brownies and peanut butter chickpea cookies. Please consider stocking up on several varieties of beans for your shopper and encourage abundance. Lentils, black beans and pinto beans are welcome foods in many cultures in our community—some of the original culturally connected foods. Ask your shoppers what they would like to have available from your food shelf today!
Ordering Editing:
Making order adjustments to orders on your behalf creates inventory discrepancies for other agencies ordering at the same time. To support equitable distribution for the entire region, we discontinued the practice of manually adding items to agency orders. It is possible to edit your order during your 24-hour order window. Opening and resubmitting orders, when done quickly, generally preserves items on the original order and allows for additions. See the Order Editing Guide
It is possible to submit orders for delivery (even with a specific delivery appointment) outside of the 24-hour order window. When we close the order window at 7 am, we release all orders for picking and palletizing. Processing orders after that creates inventory discrepancies for agencies who order during their 24-hour window. The team will reject orders received after the order window closes.
Order windows are:
• For Monday delivery —> Order previous Thursday starting at 7 am
• For Tuesday delivery —> Order previous Friday starting at 7 am
• For Wednesday delivery —> Order previous Monday starting at 7 am
• For Thursday delivery —> Order previous Tuesday starting at 7 am
• For Friday delivery —> Order previous Wednesday starting at 7 am
