You may have seen on social media that, when the Cub Foods North store in Rochester recently closed, they donated the food and product on hand to Channel One. A big thank you to our operations team and a crew of volunteers as we received 89,000 pounds of donations last week. Normally retail donations from Rochester retailers are designated for the Channel One Food Shelf, but our intent is to share these donations throughout the region. Donations are cased or repacked into boxes, in assorted categories, palletized and wrapped. Agencies can order on Agency Express. You can sort inventory by Item Number (all items start with A) or Description (all descriptions start with Assorted). The Unit of Measure is PALLET, and the pallet weight is listed. The $0.18 Shared Maintenance Fee will be added as well. You should see it under Unit Price or when you click on the Item Number, in the Item Detail. Delivery fees of $0.04 per pound, capped at $375 per delivery, also apply. Please order what your program can safely store and distribute in a reasonable amount of time. Upcoming Holiday Closures
Channel One will be closed on Friday, June 19th for Juneteenth. We are not offering an official makeup order date. If your agency is scheduled for delivery on the 3rd Friday, June 19th, please order extra on your previous delivery or reach out to [email protected] to make other arrangements. If you receive a delivery on the 4th Monday, June 22nd, your new order window will be Wednesday, June 17th. If you receive a delivery on the 4th Tuesday, June 23rd, your new order window will be Thursday, June 18th.
Month End Inventory
On Tuesday, June 30th, Channel One will conduct month-end inventory. The order window will be closed and online ordering on Agency Express will be unavailable from 4pm on Monday, June 29th until 11 am Tuesday, June 30th. You can continue to expect adjusted order window hours on the last business day of each month to accommodate our monthly inventory counts.
Ordering Reminders:
If you have a critical need (high demand food such as produce, meat, milk or eggs) during your order window, please email [email protected] for inventory support. Orders are released for picking and palletizing the day before delivery. After 9 am we have extremely limited capacity to add onto or change orders prior to delivering the next business day. An authorized representative of the agency must receive and inspect the delivery. If there are any discrepancies (items not received/received in the wrong quantity or items rejected for quality issues) please note on the picking list and the copy of the invoice and return the signed picking list with the driver. After the driver leaves, if there are any discrepancies, email [email protected] within two business days.
Order windows are:
• For Monday delivery —> Order previous Thursday starting at 7 am
• For Tuesday delivery —> Order previous Friday starting at 7 am
• For Wednesday delivery —> Order previous Monday starting at 7 am
• For Thursday delivery —> Order previous Tuesday starting at 7 am
• For Friday delivery —> Order previous Wednesday starting at 7 am
