Participating Winona Health patients will receive monthly boxes of food from the FOODRx program, which provides tailored prescriptions of food and education to people with chronic medical conditions.
Rochester will be joining over one hundred cities in the US and Canada on May 15th in celebration of a new album release by renowned artist Craig Cardiff. All local ticket proceeds from the livestream celebration will benefit Channel One and Threshold Arts.

Channel One has been selected as a beneficiary for the month of April in the Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program at the Crossroads Drive location in Rochester. The program facilitates community support for nonprofits while also encouraging positive environmental impact.
On Saturday, March 20th, Channel One Regional Food Bank will be bringing boxes of free food to the Faribault County Fairgrounds in Blue Earth, Minnesota for a “Truck to Trunk” event. Channel One is hosting the event in place of its mobile pantries held in Bricelyn and Winnebago on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Customers shopping the Ashley HomeStore in Rochester have an opportunity to earn additional savings AND help feed the hungry in their community at the same time. Donations collected through March 29 at the Ashley HomeStore in Rochester will support the Rochester Salvation Army, Channel One Regional Food Bank, and Minnesota FoodShare.
Nineteen restaurants participated in the initiative, which recorded 15,594 transactions (dine-in check, take-out order, or gift card purchase) from February 6-14. While the raised funds slightly exceed the number of meals “unlocked” by this program, the full amount raised will be donated to Channel One Regional Food Bank to support their programs.
