Group Opportunities

Thank you for helping us put our mission into action! Volunteering as a group encourages team building and instills a sense of community and philanthropy, while helping to give hope and provide healthy food for our neighbors facing food insecurity. Channel One Regional Food Bank strives to provide a positive volunteer experience for groups, organizations, friends, and families (13 years of age and older).

We do our best to accommodate requests for a specific date/time, but we cannot guarantee that your desired timeslot will be available. If you are flexible, please include the day of the week and time of day you that works best for your group.

We do not have weekend opportunities at this time. We do have limited evening availability.

We accommodate groups of 6 to 12 people at a time:

• Exceptions can be made with advance notice but groups over 12 may have to be split up.
• Groups can schedule recurring shifts or a one-time experience.

Volunteer opportunities can include:

• For larger groups (6-12 people, 2 hours): Warehouse activities, such as packing boxes, repackaging or labeling food.
• For smaller groups (3-4 people, 2-4 hours): Food Shelf support, such as stocking shelves or sorting produce, and maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers.
