ROCHESTER, Minnesota—Those who are interested in purchasing Empty Bowls To-Go soup to help increase food security in the community have until tomorrow to place an order.

Empty Bowls To-Go orders will be taken online until 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 4. Because this is a to-go event, there will be no walk-up orders onsite. People will be able to select their desired pick-up time between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. either October 10 or 11.

Eight different restaurants will be providing a variety of soups that can be purchased in either 12 oz. (a bowl) or 16 oz. (pint) sizes. Every order of soup comes with a free hand-painted bowl if selected during the order process. Specialty bowls crafted by local artisans are also available online for purchase.

The 19th annual Empty Bowls To-Go fundraiser presented by Channel One Regional Food Bank and Think Bank will be from October 10-11.

All funds raised from the event will be put back into the community and will directly benefit those who are facing food insecurity in Channel One’s 14-county service region. Channel One Food Shelf is seeing an unprecedented need with approximately 7,300 household visits in August.

An Empty Bowls To-Go 2023 order form can be found here.
